(More customer reviews)I received this set today and put it to work right away! Straight out of the box, I was impressed with the professional quality of this cookware. These are sturdy pots and pans with wonderful heavy glass lids that I should never have to replace. I chose this set for five reasons: 1)It had three saucepans, a 10" skillet and a 12" skillet. If you have a large family, this is a must. 2)The hard anodized non-stick coating has a lifetime warranty. 3)Glass lids allow me to monitor what I'm cooking without lifting the lid. 4)KitchenAid brand--the quality speaks for itself. If you don't have a KitchenAid stand mixer, I can't recommend it highly enough. 5) Amazon offers this set at a great price and FREE shipping. Can't beat it.
That said--a couple of items worth noting that aren't mentioned in the description:
This set is not dishwasher safe, but that really isn't a problem since nothing sticks to it. It cleans up very easily. When storing these pots and pans, place a towel between items to prevent scratching.
This is a great set and I look forward to using it for many, many years to come.

(More customer reviews)I may be influenced by our terrible 10-year old Amana side by side refrigerator which died before we bought this one, but this one is a pleasure by comparison. Our choices were limited by our shallow cabinet height -- even so, the cabinets needed a bit of trimming and the hinge covers on the box removed before it fit. But once settled into its spot, we turned it on and after 6 months we couldn't be happier. What we like: 1) temperatures remain rock solid in both refrigerator and freezer (and there are digital readouts to monitor; 2) Ice cream stays firm; 3) French door design is a dream -- easy access to every part of the refrigerator; 4) water dispenser works great, has filter with a need-change indicator; 5) Icemaker is fast; 6) quiet operation, hardly know it's there; 7) flexible shelving; 8) counter depth makes a nice blend with our cabinets; 9) rollers (with brakes) makes it easy to move out for cleaning behind. The one negative, which is endemic to this particular design, is that the bottom freezer is basically a tub with a pull-out shelf, making some buried items difficult to find. But we open and use the refrigerator far more often than the freeze, so the compromise is well worth it. So far, Bravo.

Blue Ember 500 Grill Review

(More customer reviews)My Blue Ember Grill is one year old this month and I love it. I read that it had some issues, but found all of them were taken care of in this new grill. The propane line is relocated toward the side burner; the side burner is on metal now instead of neoprene; and I broke the pickup part for the gas meter and emailed Blue ember and there was a part in my mailbox in three or four days.
The grill is gorgeous and a head turner. It heats up quickly. I really like the halogen light inside. The side burner does not scorch the pots and is great for sautéing and cooking bacon and keeps those smells outside. Who knew that you could smoke your meats with mesquite, hickory or applewood using a gas grill, but that was a real plus for me.

(More customer reviews)I got my 4-48 SOB direct from the Mfg. I have had pits before from Texas and none compare to this one. First off the size of the SOB will let you cook anything and anyway you prefer. Want to grill -16- rib-eyes no problem. Want to slo-cook -6- slabs of ribs laying flat..gofor it!! To get this size of pit from anyother pit mfg in the state of Texas will cost you double and big time shipping costs. The smoker box will let you slo cook all day long at 250 degrees..just add a little briquets every hour and that is it. Some prople dont understand why I like large bbq pits. It is really quite simple. I like them for their flexability. You dont have to have the whole sucker full of food. But you have safe spots. You can sear steaks and chops and then move them to a cooler area to finish up. You can throw in two full briskets or a small pig with no problem. This pit is made to last. The body is 14 gauge steel and the door is 11 gauge. You get a top notch pit thermometer as well. There is no need to have a bbq to grill with and a smoker for lo and slo. The SOB does it all. If you want to do competition Que in your backyard get a SOB!! This pit is pound for pound the best around. I should know, I have just about had them all!!

Besides that, they go with everything, are classic enough to be formal but modern enough to also go with simple place settings. You can see from the pictures. If you like the photos, you will like the silverware. I also like the fact that they have stainless steel knife blades so you can really use them. So, my review is that if you like the look, you will like the function.
