(More customer reviews)Summit refrigerators are awful! Man, do I wish I had done more research before I bought one. There are dozens of complaints out there about these units.
I waited a full year before posting this - ever hoping the unit would correct itself or I'd finally get some customer service return calls from Summit.
My Summit refrigerator makes a LOUD nonstop crackling noise EVERY time the refrigerator generator (what cools the food) comes on. It's LOUD.
I contacted Summit immediately and they acted surprised that my refrigerator was loud (HOW can that be when there are literally dozens of complaints online about this refrigerator and the lack of customer service from Summit??!!!).
First they said I had to find my own repair person, so I did ... but they didn't use him. They set up an appointment for a repair guy to come fix my refrigerator, but he was a straight NO SHOW 3 times in a row!!! I had to take off work 3 days to wait for a repair guy who never showed nor called. When I called him, each time the guy said he had forgotten the appointment!!! 3 times?????
When I tried to get Summit to arrange for a different repair person (I even had 3 new recommendations PLUS my original recommendation for them), they refused (RUDELY TOO!) and insisted that I had to work with this guy. I tried a 4th time with their repair person and again NO SHOW! Now 4 vacation days GONE!
I called Ken Cullins (Summit CEO) and Paul Storch (VP of Customer Service ... here's their #: 718.893.3900 x93 for Paul) and they were dismissive and rude.
The fridge is too cold, is WAY TOO LOUD - it wakes me up at night!!!!!!, ... and the worst part is the Summit knows how bad their products are, continues to sell them, and do not respond to customer complaints or efforts to fix the problems.

(More customer reviews)This refrigerator was purchased via Amazon Prime for use on a boat. This is a heavy item that I received overnight for $3.99 shipping--absolutely amazing service from Amazon. I was horrified to find that it did not work right off the bat but I received a same-day response from the manufacturer and they walked me through a procedure that got it up and running. Apparently, one of the electrical connectors sometimes detaches in shipping but can be easily reattached with some guidance. The refrigerator has worked perfectly since then (three months continuous use). Overall, this has performed as needed and I have been really pleased with the service from both the manufacturer and Amazon.

Weber Summit S-420 LP Gas Grill - Stainless Steel Review

Whenever it rains, water runs down the back and enters the internal drip tray, and empties into a drip pan. The pan then overflows the greasy mess onto the cabinet floor. Furthermore, the drip pan cannot be easily removed without almost totally spilling the greasy mess.

If you *are*, you'll not find a better grill on Planet Earth! This bad-boy has it all: Four MEGA-BTU "main" burners, a center sear-station burner, a smoker box burner and a dedicated IR rotisserie burner. Oh yeah, and a ultra-high power side burner, too.
Your charcoal-grilling buddies tease you because you can't get that nasty charcoal lighter (carcinogen!) "taste" with a gas grill? Ha! You can now - and go 'em one better! Use the smoker box and any number of REAL wood chips and you get the taste and odor of apple, alderwood, hickory, mesquite, oak or cherry w/o the CHT chemical dangers!
It's simply incredible! Yeah, it ain't a "hardware-store el-cheapo" either so spend the cash and you're getting a GENUINE Weber-built grill to last - no joke - a life-time. Check out everyone else's warranty and you'll jump on the Weber wagon - if you haven't already.
Weber **IS** quality grilling. Period. You can spend more, you can buy bigger - but ya can't buy better.
Feeding more people than this rather large grill can handle - with EASE? The Summit S-670 is the King-Kong big-brother of the S-470. If you can't cook on either of these two grills, then just give up, sport - and run on down to Burger King!
