(More customer reviews)I did not buy this unit from Amazon (or the seller), but rather bought it locally. My first unit lasted about 6 months, and I thought it was great. Then it started to have issues. Temperature would reset itself to whatever it wanted. This was not good, but not the end of the world either.... Then it started to run constantly. I came down one morning to find condensation running off the front door, the temp read 39*F... Needless to say I had to turn it off right away. After 3 service attempts the unit was finally replaced. The replacement was not able to cool (just the cabinet with no wine) to anything cooler than 78* in ambient air temps of 77*...
I would highly recommend staying away from this product. I also found Danby very hard to deal with. The wait time was always over 30-minutes when calling their customer care.

This extra large Danby wine cooler, (DWC166BLSRH), is the perfect choice for serious beverage storage. It can be built-in or freestanding and has many excellent features. For starters, it is very sleek and elegant, with a tempered glass door with stainless steel trim. The interior shelves are cherry wood trimmed with stainless steel and gliders, minimizing agitation and adding style. The interior is all black, and the cool blue LED lighting illuminates the interior and bottles with elegance and without the heat like incandescent bulbs have. When it comes to functionality, the cooler offers two separate and independently controlled temperature zones, each ranging from 39F to 64F. Although the temperatures are so cold, the entire cooler is frost-free. The towel bar style handle adds style with the integrated lock with key gives you piece of mind. We kept our old fridge for the garage so on holidays and special occasions I'll have the extra room for overflow. Temperature is extremely accurate and ice cold!! Just beautiful :)

Dacor Epicure Renaissance 30" Stainless Steel Electric Wall Oven Review

(More customer reviews)I have owned my Dacor oven and microwave for 4 years now. Ever year I get to spend another $2-300 to repair it. The microwave control unit died twice, the main cooking element in the oven needed to be replaced, the oven glass cracked in the cleaning cycle, and 6 months later is now full of moisture and rusting. Dacor's response: "Sorry, call a service guy." Their products and their support is not what I paid for, especially given their aspirations to be a high end brand! Garbage!!!

(More customer reviews)Got our first Bosch, and it was great. Quiet and beautiful to look at. But a defect inside allowed the glass shelves to fall off their pegs, just as you put a gallon of milk on it. Bosch came out and condemned the unit. I was impressed. Out comes #2 refrig. Plugged it in and the compressor sounded awful. A metallic rubbing sound inside the compressor. Could hear it across the house. Ice maker did not work. Out came Bosch, who replaced the ice maker but said the compressor was fine. Well the compressor noise has gotten louder, and now the ice maker died again. Also the refrig has a door open alarm feature. Well, my kids left a fruit drawer out a little, which caused the door not to close all the way. I woke up the next morning to a refrigerator that was 50 degrees inside, and no alarm sounded. Out comes Bosch for the third time. He condemns the compressor, ice maker, and a computer board. I contact customer service and demand a new machine, as it is only 2 months old. "Sorry, our warranty says we fix it, so thats what you get" She also refuses to let me talk to anyone higher than her " I am as high as you can get" she says.
I purchased it from Fergusen Enterprises, a wholesaler to the construction market. Jeff at Fergusen in Downers Grove Illinois, stepped in and pressured Bosch to replace the unit. We are currently waiting for Unit #3 to arrive.

(More customer reviews)I love this mixer!! I began researching the countertop mixers after reading the poor reviews on the KitchenAid. This mixer works wonderfully! I use spouted whole grain flour to make everything from cookies to bread; it is a very heavy and dense flour to work with, but no problem for this mixer at all. I even made sprouted whole grain oatmeal raisin chip cookies and it mixed all the ingreidents very quickly and perfectly. This receipe used to bog down my old hand mixer and I would end up mixing by hand...forever. This is a wonderful machine and I am so glad I bought it. FYI, it is heavy, but has wheels in the base that allow you to roll it accross the counter.

Energy efficient at 400 and 800 watts vs 1500 for a convection heater.
In short, if you:
1) stay pretty much in one spot during the day
2) have high ceilings or your home is really hard to heat
3) have dust allergies
4) use a heater just during your waking hours and pile on the warm blankets at night
5) are not bothered by some light being emitted from your heater
6) have cats or dogs
7) love how it feels when the sun warms up your clothes and skin
8) are concerned about energy efficiency
9) need a heater that won't burn anyone who bumps into it
then this is the space heater for you!
