(More customer reviews)This is a unique product in it's price range. We wanted a deck fridge ready for outdoor use and this appeared to be just that. As always, Amazon service was fantastic but after 3 months of service, the device began to run noisily and quit working altogether shortly after that. We were startled to examine the warranty service offered by Soleus Air and learned that in order to have warranty coverage we'd need to ship this device back to California which cost us $147. This is half the cost of the device and was a big disappointment. I suspect the value in this device will be fully realized if the company returns a unit that lasts more than a few months. If this unit fails again, it will be out of warranty (for what that is worth given the return shipping costs) and we'll likely have a fancy stainless steel ice bucket instead of a powered cooler. The physical appearance and functional design is attractive and the unit was the talk of our summer gatherings just beware of quality and the finer points of the warranty and hope your's lasts longer than ours did.

Whether the party's by the pool or on the back deck, this convenient party fridge can keep up. To use, simply press the "on" button, adjust the temperature from 39 to 59 degrees F by pressing the thermostat button, and add an assortment of beverages to be chilled. Recommended temperatures include 39 degrees F for beer and soda, 45 to 50 degrees F for white wine, and 55 to 60 degrees F for red wine. The refrigerator also provides a transparent lift-off lid that traps the cold air inside while also providing easy access to contents, rugged construction, and 5- to 10-hour standby cooling time. Accessories include two interior baskets for keeping items organized; two hanging side caddies; two antibacterial serving tables, and a detailed user's manual. (More customer reviews)The unit has a nice feature of being able to store white and red wines at your selected temp. The size is very good and was perfect for the area we wanted to place it. It holds the selected temp just fine but if the power is interupted you will need to reset your settings. It does have a few shortcomings... It is much louder than a standard fridge given it's size. The shelves that you must use to remove a bottle don't fit very well at all and they will drop out of their slots while in use. These wood shelves are all very cheaply made. The LED lights inside are all but useless. The door must be opened fully (180 degrees) in order to slide out a shelf to remove the bottle. We have a GE unit in another location that is a much better unit but only has single selected temp. It did cost nearly twice what this unit did.
If/when it dies I will not replace it with this brand or model. It proved to point that you get what you pay for.

Mr. Patrick, my experience with your company has been like MANY OTHERS on this website. The people I have had to deal with at Vinotemp have all been EXTREMELY RUDE and unhelpful! I received NO customer service at all.
If how I was treated is considered 'superior customer service,' then you are completely out of touch with what is actually going on at your company!
My first Vinotemp TEDS (made in China) had a thermostat that broke within 3 weeks, and the replacement wine cooler (which was also dented on top) broke within 6 weeks.
Unfortunately my second chiller was no longer covered under the initial product's 90 day warranty (I purchased the product in person at your company, not on Amazon). If it were not for my credit card's extended warranty I would be out nearly $350, not to mention my time and trouble, making two two-hour round trips to Vinotemp.
My entire experience with your company has been one big JOKE! Not only were both of my Vinotemp coolers absolute garbage, but the attitude and unwillingness to work with me, or even allow me return the product for a refund, does not even deserve one star here!
I will be purchasing a name brand wine cooler instead. My opinion is to STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM VINOTEMP PRODUCTS.

(More customer reviews)I own this model and have had nothing but problems with it. At first, it would not keep items cold enough. I complained to the manufacturer and their excuse was that it was not a full size refrigerator and I should not expect it to be as cold.
Then, the refrigerator started freezing everything and would not shut off. The manufacturer sent a local repairman who replaced the thermostat under warranty. Six months later the same problem was occurring.
After researching this thermostat problem with my Marvel refrigerator I found many others complaining of the same freezing problems.
The manufacturer is well aware of the problems with the thermostat on these models and have done nothing to correct it.
Don't buy.

(More customer reviews)I chose this item over less expensive dispensers because:
(1) it does not have a hot-water spigot - those harbor bacteria. I wouldn't drink water from one of those.
(2) it has a removable, stainless steel basin which can be washed. Stainless steel is much more sanitary than plastic. It was important to me to be able to cleanse the unit. I know people who've had a water dispenser in their kitchen for years without washing the internal part of the cooler that has contact with the water bottles from various supermarkets. Yuck.
I've had this in my kitchen for about two weeks and I've been nothing but pleased. The high flow faucets work well; I've heard others complain about waiting for enough water to fill even a glass, and I have very little wait filling larger containers like the coffee carafe or cooking pots. It's also completely silent, unlike some units which give off a slight electronic hum. It also does not have a logo or colorful, big brand-name prominently displayed - I wanted a water cooler, not an advertisement, and that's what I got. I'm very pleased with it.
