First, it has a high quality work surface (hard rock maple). If you regularly oil this surface with olive oil, it will last you a lifetime.
Second, although this is styled as a "wine cart", it can be used for any culinary purposes in the kitchen, dining room, terrace, etc.
Third, this unit, having high quality commercial wheels, allows you to use it all around the kitchen and the house for preparing and serving foods.
Fourth, it is really attractive as it is made of high quality stainless steel and maple.
Watch out if you buy this from Ira Woods. I bought it from them. They shipped an inferior model without the middle shelf. It was their fault, and it was a reall hassle to return it and get what I had paid for. Took a month.

It is, however, the one used in a high end cookware stores to display their enameled cast ironware so I knew it had to be well made. I ended up buying a cheapy version that I had to assemble and I wasted $100.00. It was unstable and eventually twisted.
So I ended up buying this stand from Amazon. The stand comes fully assembled and is very well made and stable. The Amazon price is excellent compared to competitor sites and the shipping price currently charged is extremely competitive. Other sites charge much, much more for shipping which adds significantly to the total cost.
I find that when my Le Creuset collection is stored on a stand it is easily accessible and I am more apt to use it. Cast iron is wonderful to cook with, but extremely heavy to lug around, so when I stored it in my cupboards I found I didn't use it much.
I'm delighted with this product

I just downsized from a house with a large country kitchen to a modern condo with 1/3 the space, and nowhere to store my heavy-duty cookware. This very sturdy rack allows me to hang all my pots and pans on the wall, plus display the antique tins I was going to have to get rid of. It's very heavy (35lbs), and was a real challenge for my husband to hang. But well worth the effort! Our suggestion: get help to hang it (to support the weight)--and make sure your studfinder works!

(More customer reviews)This buffet requires assembly and we were quite puzzled when there was no instructions how to put one of the planks at the bottom of the buffet. In addition it was strange that one (front) plank was already attached and another (back) was not. Then we could find only three remaining screws while there are five holes. After closer look we found out that two screws are inside the plank, and one of the screws is broken. And the bottom of the buffet looked like the plank was just ripped off. Also one of the inner parts is badly scratched and slightly painted over. I was strongly considering returning the buffet, but we desperately needed something in our kitchen, so we could not wait another two-three weeks for receiving a new one.
So, overall, I like the buffet, it's made of good wood and even wine rack is solid and not flimsy. However, if you order it, check VERY carefully for damage!

My husband, despite his vocation of carpenter, detests "assembling" things. However, when I walked into the kitchen yesterday, he said, "This thing is well made! It makes sense." I've read other reviews which stated it took four hours for three people to assemble, but it took he and my 7 and 5 year old just under two hours!
I was disappointed at the cost for shipping, but decided it was still less expensive than any comparable item I've seen.
No regrets!

(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these a couple of years ago. It has provided much more than I could have asked for the price paid.

My kitchen is rather small with little work space. I needed a place to knead bread and do other things but also needed it to roll out of the way when not needed. This island turned out to be perfect. It does require a bit of assembly. Took me about 90 minutes. The result was a handsome & functional island in unfinished rubberwood. You can finish it with most stains or wood finishes but I would recommend leaving the countertop unfinished. More sanitary & easier to keep clean. (Yes, handled properly, wood is every bit as sanitary as plastic, stone, or metal. Keep ALL liquids off of it!)
It's sturdy enough for hard kitchen use. I have pounded meat on it (on a cutting board) and beat bread dough to death. I have also used it as an impromptu breakfast bar & even rolled it onto the patio to use as a dry bar once. Worked wonderfully. But it really shines as a place to slice. dice, chop & mix. And it's the best bread board I've ever had. (NOTE: DO NOT USE A KNIFE ON THE WOOD!! Put a cutting board down to protect the surface.) It even holds 3 separate, operating machines (bread machine, slow cooker, & my large Kitchen-Aid stand mixer)& still leaves a good working area. The back leaf folds down & reduces the storage space when you need to roll it out of the way.
The only shortcomings (and they are minor) is the depth of the storage. The cabinets are not deep enough to store large pans. Youcan get two 1 gal. water/milk jugs back to back & that's about it. Also the drawers are too short & too shallow to store long items like ladles, cooking spoons, & butcher knives. A silverware tray won't fit. Also when assembling, stagger the 2 lockable wheels on opposite corners. Otherwise the island will pivot when pushed.
If you need working space for a small kitchen & don't want spend big bucks, this is the island to buy. After seeing mine & how I use it, several friends bought one too.

Enclume PR10-HS Premier Shelf with Half Circle Wall Rack, Hammered Steel Review

(More customer reviews)We've been working on our kitchen since we moved into our new place, and even though I've increased the size of my kitchen substantially, I find that I never have enough room. Clearly, getting the pots out of the cabinetry was key, but with the layout of the room, there aren't a whole lot of options. Finally, I found this pot rack, and it's exactly what I'd been looking for. Unlike other wall-mounted racks that we looked at, the mounts extend the rack 4" away from the wall, allowing me to hang smaller pots from the main rail without having them bang against the drywall. I was able to mount the rack within 1 1/2" from the ceiling and still add/remove the hooks easily, giving me the maximum amount of room and head clearance (note - my wife and I are both above-average height, so this solution may not work for everyone). Mounting was easy - you have to have wooden studs to mount this into the wall (4 carriage bolts finished to match included), and owners of older homes should be aware that lat-and-plaster finished homes are likely not going to be able to accommodate. Ceiling hooks are included, but I didn't see any use for them, given the way the wall mounts work (but they'll be nice for other work I'm doing). The biggest negative I see is that the hook count is a bit skimpy and additional hooks are a bit pricy, given the overall cost of the rack. But, I still give this rack a 5/5 - it's sturdy, well-made, easy to mount, and I'm confident that I will get many years of use out of it.

Assembly took some time. This isn't like Ikea furniture, with you can assemble with just any flat head screw driver. But thankfully it isn't Ikea furniture, because it also comes out much sturdier (I just spent an hour gluing together an Ikea dresser because it was falling apart, yuck). I used a phillips screw driver and cordless drill with an allan key driver (two came with the kit). I saw the other review about the hardware stripping out... no such problems. I've assembled many things and the hardware isn't the total garbage you sometimes get at like Harbor Freight or the like, where screw heads break off etc.
The instructions are clear and there are extra screws and bolts just in case some roll away under the stove etc. That's a really nice touch in my opinion.
The one issue I had was with the drawer. Assembled, it was not at all straight on the front. I took it apart and redrilled some of the holes. This took all of 15 minutes, so I wasn't too annoyed. Looks good now.
I consider the price to be pretty good-- a comparable kitchen cart at Crate and Barrel is almost twice as much. And you have to assemble that too.
It's really made a big difference in our kitchen, and I wish we hadn't waited so long to get it. I'll probably get some other furniture from the manufacturer.

(More customer reviews)Ordered from Target. If you have a smaller kitchen like I do then this is the Island for you. It can be used up against a wall or in the middle of the room if you like. I have Antique Black Kitchen cabinets and stainless appliances and this matches perfectly! I will say though, that the stainless steel top is NOT for chopping or cutting however. It is thin and could scratch. There is a ton of storage space in this island. Lots of drawers and the shelves are sturdy and hold large bowls and heavy mixers and things.
Now for assembly, it took awhile on my own. About 2 hours if I remember correctly so you may want a helper near by. The parts were very well labeled though and instructions were easy and straight forward. It arrived in 2 large heavy boxes, well packaged. Don't forget to add wood glue to screw holes during assembly for better hold. I also looked around and found a discount code before purchase.

We saw other Rev-A-Shelf products at Home Depot with different configurations, but they were all plastic, and with limited space below the sink none of them were as efficient as we would have liked. We had just spent several months remodeling our house and had a brand new kitchen. Our garbage container was already under the sink, but we thought it would be nice to have a container for recyclables out of sight rather than stacking cans and bottles on the counter until we got around to taking them out to the garage.
So rather than buying something that was close to what we wanted, I did a google search and found the full product lineup here on amazon. Because the containers are front to back, it takes up little of the under sink area, a very efficient use of space. We use the larger container in the back for garbage, and the smaller container in the front for recyclables. The front container fills up faster and does need to be taken out frequently, but you just pull the unit out, and each container lifts out separately with its own handle, so that's not a problem.
The black and stainless steel looks great, and fits perfectly with our new kitchen with SS appliances and black granite countertops - much nicer and more durable than plastic.

(More customer reviews)This is exactly what I was looking for - a solid, heavy, stable rack for my pots that was exactly the right size for the space. This is an industrial strength and made product - there are places where the steel is welded together that might send some to the therapist if they were not interested in having the added strength that these welds provide. This is a seriously heavy pot rack - and there is no way it should be installed unless into the joists of the kitchen - read the manual carefully. Once installed properly, this is very stable. The grid and hooks that are enclosed are seriously strong, and stay in place when pans are removed from the rack. The simple reason I got this from Amazon was the price. The only complaint was that delivery required a signature, UPS left a note on Tuesday saying they would be returning wednesday between 2 and 6 PM. Circumstances changed and someone was home all the next day - yes, UPS showed up at 10 AM - I would have missed it and been down to my third delivery chance before the thing was returned to sender - next time use FedEx if you can...

The small kitchen is open to the living area and I wanted a cart that would look like a piece of furniture since it would be in the dinning area. This cart does it all...looks more like a furniture piece than a plain wood cabinet my in law origionally selected. Glad they were out of stock. (More customer reviews)I just put this together over the weekend and I must say I could not be happier. I have assembled more than my share of "boxed" furniture and so often there are problems, but this cart is quality. The holes were drilled properly, the pieces were marked and they even supply an extra piece of hardware for every format used. Very considerate. The instructions make sense with one small caveat. Do not look at the hole marks on the illustrations as a guide for placement, as I did find one mistake on the back panel. Just know that all multiple holes will go inward. External holes also get plugged with nice finishing dowels. Upshot is, the piece is extremely strong, the wood is good quality, the drawers run smoothly and the stainless steel top is beautiful and is extremely heavy. This is not a flimsy piece. There's also butcher block top version, Solid Wood Top Kitchen Cart And Workcenter , which I just ordered a few minutes ago, being that I liked this unit so much.
