Assembly took some time. This isn't like Ikea furniture, with you can assemble with just any flat head screw driver. But thankfully it isn't Ikea furniture, because it also comes out much sturdier (I just spent an hour gluing together an Ikea dresser because it was falling apart, yuck). I used a phillips screw driver and cordless drill with an allan key driver (two came with the kit). I saw the other review about the hardware stripping out... no such problems. I've assembled many things and the hardware isn't the total garbage you sometimes get at like Harbor Freight or the like, where screw heads break off etc.
The instructions are clear and there are extra screws and bolts just in case some roll away under the stove etc. That's a really nice touch in my opinion.
The one issue I had was with the drawer. Assembled, it was not at all straight on the front. I took it apart and redrilled some of the holes. This took all of 15 minutes, so I wasn't too annoyed. Looks good now.
I consider the price to be pretty good-- a comparable kitchen cart at Crate and Barrel is almost twice as much. And you have to assemble that too.
It's really made a big difference in our kitchen, and I wish we hadn't waited so long to get it. I'll probably get some other furniture from the manufacturer.
