(More customer reviews)I bought these candles because I thought they would look nice on my end table near the couch. At first, they did look nice. However, when I lit them they melted so much within the first half hour that the wax spilled all over the plate, off the edge of the table, and on to the floor. It took me an hour to get the wax out of the carpet!
The plate and rocks were ruined too, covered in blobby candles and melted wax.
My suggestion if you buy this set - DO NOT BURN THE CANDLES! Use it as a decoration only.

(More customer reviews)I do drink tea, and I keep my teapot on a side table over a tea warmer. I have had other brands of candles, but they don't seem to keep my tea HOT. They keep the tea warm. These candles do indeed keep my tea nice and hot, which is lovely on a cold day.
I went through the entire bag, and put them into a box. Out of 100 candles, only one was flawed. That's pretty good!
Give these candles a try and see if you don't get hotter tea, too.

(More customer reviews)The scent is very pleasant, but the wooden wick gimick is just that, a gimick. I found that the "wood ambiance" is the faint smell of wood burning and the wax fragrance trying to mask it- no crackling or dancing flames liking to wood burning in a fireplace. After the initial burning, the wick looks like a piece of burnt wood (well duh!) that is fragile to the touch so you have to pour off the melted wax to expose more of the wick to keep it burning. I highly doubt the candle is going to burn for 80 hours as the wick is sub-par. If I hadn't already started burning it, I would have returned it the next day.

I put it out in the garage because I can not stand that smell and now, every time I go out there, I smell it. It's going in the trash. I found this to be true of the Febreeze Gain Fabric Refresher, as well. However, if you want the true Gain smell without the Febreeze metal smell, the Febreeze Gain Air Freshener is EXACTLY the smell of Gain without the metal Febreeze smell.

If it does not burn even, it will eventually just be a pain to light. It is a very good smelling candle, my wife loves them. Dont worry about the crackling sound, can't really hear it. It makes the house smell good, guess that's the point.

The tin does get very hot after you have been burning for a long time or the candle is low, so need to be careful, but other than that I absolutely love these candles and have ordered them multiple times in different varieties.

(More customer reviews)I've always loved patchouli... but wasn't sure about frankincense. I bought this because I liked the idea of a natural, toxin-free candle with my favorite patchouli scent. I had it sitting in my home office for the longest time before I finally lit it up today. All I can say is... nirvana. It has an incredible smell and is very relaxing. (Not exactly conducive to working, but takes away any work stress and anxiety!) My only complaint is that it's smaller than I thought it was. The candle itself is probably only about 2 inches in diameter. I know it lasts a pretty long time, but I wish it was offered in a larger size. I'd get one for every room in the house! As it is, a candle this size is probably just right for my smallish office when I have the doors closed. I think the aroma would get lost in our living room or other larger rooms because the candle is not quite large enough.
