(More customer reviews)It is really difficult to find reviews of vapor cleaners not sponsored by specific manufacturers. For some reason Consumer Reports has never researched them. This Vapor Clean TR5 was recommended to me by a friend who did 2 years of research before buying. She liked the Ladybug but could not afford it. She has used hers for more than a year with no problems. From other customer reviews it seems that the cheaper plastic vapor cleaners tend to break or have flimsy attachments.
I used this right out of the box to deep clean a tile floor which had only been damp mopped for 6 years. It took 3 hours and many towels but the floor looks brand new. I got the burned on spots off my 20 yr old oven. The very best thing it has done so far is streakfree window cleaning. It runs for 60 mins on one tank of water. It beeps and shuts off when empty. The only drawback I have found so far is that it leaves more wetness on the cleaned surface than I expected.

So far this machine feels sturdy and is doing a great job of cleaning. If this machine lasts it will be well worth the price.
