After having the standard propane outdoor heaters for years, we were finally sick of having the propane tank filled and trying again and again to get the heater lit and then waiting for it to warm up the space. We bought this heater and it was instantly hot - we live on the ocean in California so this is something we need year around and we love it! We are buying a second one to cover the rest of our seating area outside! Could not recommend more highly!! I'm not sure why the first reviewer had no heat, the only possible reason could be that he forgot to plug it in!!!!

(More customer reviews)The unit works well, and heats most of our screened porch. The only problem is that it keeps tripping the circuit breakers no matter where we plug it in. No warning about that on any website before. We have to turn off all the outdoor lights, or some combination of that, to run the unit. Small compromise for staying warm while enjoying extended use of our porch as the weather cools.
