(More customer reviews)I love, love, love, LOOOVE the smell of Pinon wood! It is, without a doubt, the best smell in the world. I received my package 2 days after ordering it and it came in perfect condition. The bricks seem to burn pretty quick, but the smell definitely lingers, which it great!
I saw a couple reviews that said it was too smokey, but I didn't get that at all, and I'm in a teeny tiny apartment (so the smoke doesn't have as much room to disperse). Right when I lit it it was pretty smokey, but it died down quite a bit to equal the smoke output as, say, a normal stick of incense.
So, long story short, I will DEFINITELY purchase this again! Awesome buy! :)

(More customer reviews)If you're someone that is familiar with incense, you will definitely find this kind to be a little different. This red ceder scented incense is part of a line of wood based blends that include balsam and mesquite, among others. They are a little more loosely packed then sweeter traditional incense you may be used too, and emit a much smokier, fire burning smell than oil based blends. It's my opinion that if you are used to the usual swirls that emit from cone incense, you may just find this to be a bit overwhelming. If however, you feel the extra smoke won't bother you, you may also find this and the other wood based incense to promote a very warm and cozy atmosphere of a burning fireplace. It will fill your room with a delightful ceder wood aroma to be sure. The looser base of these blends make for a much faster burning experience than your average cone, or stick incense. My average per brick is about 20 minutes and its done. The return however is that the extra smoky blend makes for a longer lasting scent in the aftermath.
I have not found these, or any of the others in this line, to be any harder to light than any other kind of incense. And with all due respect to the other reviewer here that stated they do not stand up easily, I have had no problems with mine in that area. I would prefer a traditional cone over the little brick design that these are, but they are still very manageable. If your an incense enthusiast, I would definitely recommend at least trying this old fashioned ceder blend. Perhaps picking up a small box as part of a free shipping package just to try them out...

(More customer reviews)Desert sage is a different plant than white sage, which other people seem to be comparing this to. Desert sage is stemmy with small leaves, and it is more woody and earthy smelling than white sage. This desert sage is about 3 inch bundles that are very tightly packed, they seem like a lot of stems but that's basically what desert sage is. I like to burn these as incense over a piece of charcoal, and they are exactly the right size and consistency for doing that. They are very aromatic and have a true Native desert sage smell. A lot of people use them for ritual instead of as incense, and I think they would also be very good for that purpose, a lot of potency in them. If you're looking for White Sage, this isn't it and you should look at other products. If you're looking for wonderful smelling aromatic desert sage, this is an excellent choice and actually a pretty amazing value, too.

We used it for midnight mass this year and throughout the Christmas season. I'm very particular about incense and this met my standard.

(More customer reviews)This Incense Burner is very nice. It is made entirely out of wood with intricate carvings all over. The Brass Inlays of Buddha are also very nice. You can burn 2 sticks of incense at a time, or use the brass bowls for cone incense. A very nice item. My only complaint is that the holes for stick incense are rather large, and some of my incense fits loosely inside. Would recommend to anyone looking to burn incense.

(More customer reviews)If you use charcoal to burn (smolder) incense, you probably know that the top sellers will stink up your house with a terrible smell before it is ready to have incense placed on it. Cone and sticks are simply not nearly as effective in magick, and I have an extensive collection of herbs, oils and resins.
Three Kings is a fantastic exception. After you spark the charcoal, it almost immediately goes into full "spark" and does produces little if any smell on its own. It burns through.
This is the best incense charcoal I know of.

(More customer reviews)Great idea and its well made, attractive and affordable. I was going to get one of those open incense holders. Glad I didn't since I usually have a ceiling fan running. What really made the purchase worth it was the 2 sampler sticks. They didn't have a name on them, just said they were the kind burned in Indian Temples. A quick email to Tom's Incense and a fast reply from Tom who said that it was India Temple Incense - Song of India - 50 Stick Medium Box. That is the most incredible incense I have ever smelled. Nothing like what you think incense smells like. So just for finding my new favorite incense was worth it. There is just one thing. Watch your fingers when opening the box, I wasn't paying attention and pinched my finger.

This sage is dried nicely, is bundled wonderfully for a long lasting burn. I clear my home and sacred space every day or so, and one bundle lasts me weeks. Great product!
