(More customer reviews)This is one of the most disappointing fan I've ever owned. It has already needed replacing 2 times and when the light went out the glass could not be removed and when I called tech support they told me to shatter the glass and they would send a new one. Why would I spend $600 for something that requires me to shatter glass all over my house. Just trying to remove the glass has destroyed the fans alignment and I am now afraid to turn the fan on due to its wild spinning.
$600 + 3 hours of my life wasted on calls to the manufacture and frustration to change a little light = very disappointed. Will never buy Casablanca again.

(More customer reviews)I had this fan in my office, in brushed steel, so when we built our house, we bought six more, in oiled bronze. The bulbs burn out too frequently, due to the kind of bulbs they are. Otherwise, completely silent, completely reliable, beautiful fans.

(More customer reviews)Sometimes, you got to say "What the heck; I can afford it." This is a nice fan. Heavy cast aluminum housing, and, all accenting parts are of a higher end quality than the fans you find at the home improvement warehouses. Mine spins rock steady on a 5' downrod. But, Hunter could afford to add a couple of details/accessories at this price level. A remote control, nice bulbs, and a 24" drop rod would have made it seem 'complete'. Including a remote control would have earned it a 5-star rating from me.
Note: Drop rods are impossible to find, and, few lengths offered, in midnight copper....provencial gold is close, and, a good substitute.

(More customer reviews)Love the design of this fan. Very quiet and lots of extras included in the product. Only drawback is that it provides very little light. If you are looking for a fan that provides high strength lighting this may not be the fan for you. The wattage of the light bulbs suggested is limited. I will need another type of light in the room where it is installed. If that is not a concern I would highly recommend this fan. Love the security feature it provides.
