(More customer reviews)I purchased this machine to use in a high school concession booth. We use it about 8-10 evenings per year, popping corn continually for 2 hours each evening. I researched popcorn machines for a long time before I chose this model. No other machine in this price range was recommended for this kind of use. We have had the machine for 2 years and it has performed beautifully during that time. It is very easy to use. When we use the Great Northern corn in pre-measured packages (oil, corn and salt) ANYONE can learn to use the popper in just a few minutes and the results are perfect every time. In the concession stand I use the 8-ounce packages of corn. Most of the other machines I researched would not hold that much corn, so I can make lots more popcorn in each batch with this equipment. The popper is sturdy, easy to clean and easy to maintain. Only problem is that I have to bring the machine home after every event because my family is hooked on the popcorn and will not eat any other kind. When we use it at home I use the smaller (6 ounce) pre-measured corn packages.
