This unit looks great and works very well. The doors work smoothly and quietly. The control panel is easy to use and we were able to use it right away with no problems in using the basic functions. More advanced functions really are also easy to use after reading the owners manual. We just use the features that we need. The oven came with 3 racks upper and 2 lower. There is an optional alf rack that ships with some ovens but not ours.
We opted for the stainless unit and it has its usual stainless fingerprint issues. The convection on top automatically converts the temp or time for baking and you can bake 3 racks at once. This is the first oven we owned that the broil worked as it features a 6 pass broil element. No more burned spots on the french bread. The unit will shut itself off automatically after 12 hours. And there are many other features on the control panel.
One suprise was when a small cooling fan kicked on during oven operation. This is normal and is mentioned in the owners manual. It helps keep the control panel and cabinet cool. I had wondered how Maytag was keeping a double oven livable in a standard wall oven cabinet without the "this thing can get your cabinet fairly warm warning". This cooling fan is a PLUS and should have been mentioned as a feature and not as an afterthought.
The unit was packed very well and quite frankly I was suprised to see how well it was protected. It really is reassuring to see that Maytag did not skimp in this area as this gives a good first impression. The oven requires a 220V 40A circuit. Maytag recommended dimensions for the cabinet are spot on and the unit fits very well into the wall cabinet.
Installation is fairly easy. Maytag recommends removing the doors for installation. This is not a bad idea as the unit weighs over 200 lb. I left the doors on as I had a platform for the oven to slide into the cabinet. Pull the oven back out about 2 inches and install the lower trim piece. Push the oven back in, open one oven door and then install the trim screws in the sides (2 each side). Don't overtighten these screws. Do the same for the other door.

With two ovens in one, this oven features cutting-edge conveniences. Precision Cooking System provides precise temperature-controlled preheating and consistent heat throughout the cooking process, ensuring that your food comes out evenly baked or browning, even if you're cooking more than one dish at a time. This Wall Oven also includes EvenAir Convection, which uses a third cooking element and a pwoerful fan to raise over temperature, meaning you can have the performance and power of this range in 3/4 the time. Time and temperature are self-adjusted, to take the guesswork out of your cooking.

Crockpot SCVP600-W Oval 6-Quart Smart-Pot Slow Cooker, White Review

I bought this just over a year ago and we've used it extensively. As long as you do soups and very moist meats (lots of liquids) it works fine. It is much too hot for most slow cooking and it will dry out foods on the warm setting.
Even with all of that, I got used to using it. However, the handle to the lid just broke off today and you must buy a whole new lid if you are out of warranty. That is $18.00!!! Rival says that this isn't a known issue and so maybe I'm the unlucky one. Also, when I called customer support, they were very unwilling to give me information about this problem. It seemed to me that they are aware of it, but don't want it publicized. When I asked the rep how long she had worked there, she replied that she couldn't give me that information because of "security concerns". I just wanted to know what level of experience she had!
If you are not going to leave it alone for very long or you only cook with lots of liquids, this may work out for you as it did for me for a year. If you want to have a long lasting more versatile slow cooker, you should probably look elsewhere. And after reading the reviews on most of the other Rival crockpots, I have decided that my initial feelings were justified and I will take Rival products out of my considerations.

I was pretty frightened to try this toaster, but I had one several years ago and after trying a much more expensive model that took at least 10 minutes to toast bread, I decided to try it, despite all the bad reviews. And for $40, what more do you want? The oven does indeed turn off when the bell rings and can toast frozen bread in about 5 minutes, slower than a regular toaster, but much faster than the high end countertop oven that I tried. I waited about a month to write this review, because I was expecting to see flames coming from the unit, but so far it's been fine. I've used this to reheat pork chops and steak and it has worked quite well and I really like the hooks that pull the rack out about an inch when the door is opened.

The unit's 1/4-cubic-foot interior nicely fits individual pizzas, casseroles, or up to four slices of toast at a time, while its control dial makes it simple to adjust the temperature up to 400 degrees F. In addition, its toast-darkness control allows for accommodating individual preferences, from light to dark. Other thoughtful details include an indicator light, a signal bell at the end of the toasting cycle, and a swing-open crumb tray for easy disposal and cleaning.
