(More customer reviews)I work with a number of dogs as part of a dog rescue group. Before I used this product, I was unable to keep my grass green. Now, it is no problem. You do need to give it a week to "kick in" though, so keep them from peeing on the grass for the first week!

(More customer reviews)I have a German Shepherd dog and I use Musher's Secret on his paws during the winter so that the salt and ice do not hurt them. He used to spend a lot of time licking his paws before I got this and now he doesn't do it as much when it snows (although he seems to like licking the Musher's Secret from his paws when I've just put it on) and he doesn't do it at all in normal weather. His paws tend to get worn and this product helps soothe and protect them. You don't have to use a lot either, so it lasts a long time. Thank you Musher's Secret for my baby's happy feet!

(More customer reviews)We have three dogs that do a number on our kentucky bluegrass. Giving them green-ums helps save our lawn from the onslaught of nitrogen they give it. I've noticed the biggest difference when I keep the dogs on green-ums all winter. In the spring the lawn doesn't have the brown patches from the dogs and has an easy recovery and greens up much more quickly.
Buying the 1000 count of green-ums is definitely the most cost-effective way to go. They last a couple months and this is by far the lowest price I've found for them.

It appears that different brands/formulas could work fine for one dog but not another even though the ingredients seem to be the same. The first five brands did absolutely nothing with our female German Shepherd and the burn spots were destroying our lawn. After several months of trying one then moving on to another we finally purchased this one as a last attempt. After using this product for several days we caught our dog using the neighbor's lush green lawn and we panicked. We waited until the next morning to see if we needed to apologize or repair or make amends in some way, but the grass was as green as the day before without a sign of her being there. This works flawlessly for us.
