(More customer reviews)I replaced a large boiler with this little unit...as the large boiler was really overkill for my needs. I was very concerned that the amount of steam would not be sufficient for my needs, and even though it does not give the amount of steam that my old boiler did, it works pretty good. I like the fact that it is 110V instead of 220V. It really is a nifty little gadget, and so far has met my needs. I do worry a bit about whether it will last. I will update this if I have any problems, but for now I give it a four star rating and would recommend it to people who need a small to medium volume of high pressure dry steam.

(More customer reviews)Bottom line, the product DOES work. However, let me explain the way it works. Corian countertops are the same material all of the way through. So, if you get a scratch, you are basically using this set of sanding pads to sand down your countertop (just over the scratch) until you sand down past the scratch. Apparently, Corian is also a very soft material, so it is easy to scratch. And the darker your contertop, the more you see the scratches. I have a grey countertop, so the scratches can be very noticeable. And apparently I have some deep scratches. Anyway, the scratch remover kit gives you six sanding pads, from fine to coarse. Even when I started with the coarsest pad they had, it took me 20 minutes to get the scratch out. But, you aren't even done after that. Once you get the scratch out, you are supposed to work your way down back to the finest pad so that you are blending that spot with the rest of the countertop. I swear it took me an hour just to do one of my big scratches...and I was kinda tired after that! After that, I just started skipping a pad when I was working my way back down. So again, it DOES work but I wish they had a few pads that were a bit more coarse.
Also, I did read in one person's review that they had problems with the area not matching the rest of their countertop afterwards. It comes with a polish, but I didn't use it. I bought the Weiman corian polish and polished my entire countertop surface afterwards. It seems to have worked. I see no difference in the surfaces.

(More customer reviews)I have owned Le Creuset products for years and have heard suggestions for everything from Soft Scrub to salt for cleaning. I recently changed to earth-friendly products and have been using Bon Ami cleanser in my home. It is noted on the can that it's recommended by Chantal, Corning Ware, Farberware among many others for cleaning their cookware so I thought I'd give it a try on the interior of my Le Creuset. Works like magic, rinses clean and does not scratch. Gets that last little bit of "stuff" out that your scrubbie pad can't seem to get off, removes light stains. Best of all, it only costs about $1 for a whole can! Try it on your stainless pots & pans, too. I bought the Le Creuset cleaner recently to see if it would get the brown spots off the underside of my pans but it didn't work & unfortunately nothing seems to. Be careful if you have an electric stove that your stove burners do not damage the bottom of your Le Creuset, mine have - I did not have this problem when I cooked on a gas stove. All in all the Le Creuset cleaner does not work any better than Bon Ami, so I will save my money in the future.
