(More customer reviews)Interesting to read the reviews below. 2 rate the product poorly but are complaining about sellers and shipping not the product itself. I believe this is discontinued by Broan and it sold for over $400. For the $400 price I would rate this item 2 stars and probably not worth the money. For $90 I paid I give it a 4 star rating. Interestingly my unit had a couple small spots in the grey glaze that had been rubbed off or were a manufacturing defect like the first reviewer had. They were VERY small and I just touched them up with some grey acrylic tube paint. I can't spot them without really looking for them.
I was a little dissappointed with the thickness of the thing. It would have looked nicer if it were thinner and did not stand out so much from the wall. It is all ceramic and in my opinion does not look plastic as noted by another reviewer. It also does not look much like it was real tile either. But it is pleasent to look at and easy to mount. I will put it up and be happy with it in my recently remodeled kitchen while I move on to other projects happy I only invested 15 minutes in it. When I get done with the other major renovations and have more time perhaps I will revisit it with a real tile job around the cooktop. At the $90 price I won't be out much and I will probably find someone happy to re-use this in their kitchen.

Was not the exact same configuration and hard to remember the price, but I think this price point is cheaper to the Germany, Euro denominated ones. Anyway, this is Gorgeous!!!! Simply a piece of design art and cooking function of the highest quality possible without going more crazy on price. The fact you can see the cooking process, the red silicone, the different levels of steam release... is just amazing. The only "drawback" is that the close section does not seal completely, but I guess it is not a pressure cooker. Scary price, but if you want something that will last forever and looks cool... go for it...

Northwest Glass Yama Coffee Siphon Vacuum Pot, 1-Unit Review

(More customer reviews)I wanted to try the siphon method of brewing and thought this would be a good entry level pot. I have been very pleased with it so far. I have used it almost every day since I received it and used it for a presentation on coffee brewing methods. I must say that I was a bit disappointed when it arrived to see that the product features had not been (nor still is) accurate. The listing stated (and still does) that this unit also "Includes an bamboo stir stick and a butane burner". Of course it did not. It contained a plastic measuring spoon that also works as a stirrer as well as an alcohol burner. I had done enough research to suspect this was the case.
On the topic of burner; I had read quite a bit about the slowness of the alcohol burner but this really hasn't been too much of an issue for me. I heat my water in an electric water kettle before putting it in the siphon and it is back up to a boil in a very short time with the alcohol burner. I could see this being an issue if you didn't preheat the water or were using a larger pot.
So far I'm very pleased with my purchase and would consider using this company and supplier in the future.

Directions for use; use a slightly finer grind of coffee. Drop the washable, reusable cloth covered filter into the infussion chamber with the chain hanging down into the glass syphon tube. Pull the chain down until you can hook it to the bottom of the siphon tube. Fill the bottom carafe to the 5 mark with hot water and place 5 measuring spoons of coffee in top chamber. Fill the burner with soot free denatured alcohol, ethyl or an ethyl / isopropyl mixture that's high on the ethanol side - isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) tends burns hotter than ethyl or methyl alcohols, but also burns orange and produces a lot of soot. This is available at hardware or outdoor stores. It takes about 4 minutes to heat the water, all the water is siphoned to the top chamber and then allow 2 minutes to brew. Once you remove from the heat source, the coffee comes back down to the bottom carafe. Remove the top, placing it in its convertible lid/stand, and bring the pot to the table for serving.

The product adhered well to the jacket, but felt tacky and stuck to itself even after 24 hours dry time, which only made the tear worse. When used to repair torn jeans, it dried pale yellow and left an unsightly spot on the fabric. Overall the product works as a fabric adhesive, but I wouldn't recommend using it on anything you want to be seen wearing.

(More customer reviews)Candles are undersized, not 3/4 inch but are 11/16. they fit loosely into candle holder, won't stand up straight. Useable burn time is about 1 hr and 45 min. They do have a big flame. Packaging was terrible. I bought 2 box's and each box is 4x4x9'. They put them in a 12" sq box with a piece of brown paper as packing material. when I received them I had 144 loose candles about 2" deep in the bottom of this large box 1 star for the product 0 for company duet to poor shipping/packaging.
