(More customer reviews)Yes, I just called a kitchenaid appliance sexy! Pictures do not do this beautiful workhorse justice! The candy apple color is simply stunning! If you are in the market for an Artisan 325 watt kitchenaid mixer, this is THE one to have. The 90th Anniversary edition is available for a limited time this year. I absolutely love the glass mixing bowl. Very sturdy and looks like it is made of a pyrex material. The color drew me in, but the glass bowl sold me! Love the measurement marks on the side, so convienient. Not to mention that you can finally see if your ingredients are all mixed up now. But I will also probably buy a metal bowl to go with this as well. Although completely unneccesary. The whisk, paddle, and dough hook are a coated metal, not the standard white coated ones that came with my KA classic. It is important to know that these new attachmants are hand wash only. DO NOT put these in the dishwasher, the coating will come off and become discolored. Although they look very nice, I would have prefered a metal that could be put in the dishwasher, that is my ONLY complaint with this machine, and it's trivial. If this is an issue for you, then buy the white coated ones, as all attachments are universal.
I will add a picture of my new KA so you will see how this shines! Hope you get one too before they are all gone for good!
Edit- I also wanted to write a quick note for those that had a question about the pour shield compatibility with the glass mixer bowl. It will work on this bowl. Just line it up over the spout on the bowl. Also, if you lust for the glass mixing bowl, sometime next year KA is going to sell it as an extra for the tilt head models only.

Combining a 325-watt motor with a direct-drive transmission, this stand mixer delivers the power needed to take on heavy mixtures and large batches with ease. The unit's 10-speed control ranges from a slow stir to a very fast whip, while its 67-point planetary mixing action sends the beater clockwise and the shaft counterclockwise, moving the beater to the edge of the bowl at 67 different points for thorough mixing with no need to rotate the bowl. The stand mixer provides a large 5-quart glass bowl, complete with measurement markings up the side and a nondrip pouring spout, as well as three handy accessories: a flat beater for normal to heavy mixtures, a hook for mixing and kneading yeast doughs, and a wire whip for air-infused creations like whipped cream or angel-food cake. Other highlights include a 9-cup flour capacity, a tilt-back head, and a multipurpose attachment hub with a hinged hub cover that flips open to allow for easy installation of optional attachments. To distinguish the 90th Anniversary edition from the other KitchenAid stand mixers, the appliance features a beautiful double-coated finish and a "90th" label accenting the trim band. Designed with solid, all-metal construction, the stand mixer measures 8-2/3 by 14 by 13-8/9 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
