(More customer reviews)My rotary clothesline is about 15 months old and I wouldn't trade it for anything! It does just what the product description says it will, and I can attest to it's durability. Because it's too heavy for me to lift it out of it's base by myself, I invested in an extra large patio unbrella cover and keep it covered when it's not in use. It stayed outdoors covered like this, all winter. It survived 45+ mph. winds that come across the fields. It laughs at ice and snow! No rusting, no mold or mildew on any part; and the lifting and locking mechanism continues to work like new. In spite of it's overall weight, it is very easy to raise and lower. If we ever move, it's definitely coming with me and I'll just order another base to anchor it. This is a super quality product and worth the investment. For anyone who wants an umbrella type clothesline, and lives in an area where wind could be a problem, I recommend this unconditionally.
