The warranty period is very short and covers little.
Those "locks" do not withstand the inquisitive nature of my greenwing who delights in the simplicity of taking them apart and doing his best to hide the little springs and knobs.
The powder coating began wearing off within the 1st year (after the warranty expired...anywho, who wants to return a cage of this size!?), right where he primarily dumps. Its made in China.
Oh, and those nifty feeding & water cups, well, they have the most thin lips and, ergo, Groucho the Greenwing splits them where they aren't protected towards the inside of the door, which is a double design-defect. They were made in Malaysia but now reportedly come from China. Oh, and it looks like (with Groucho having gone through all 5) there's only one place that has them in stock in the whole USA, despite Avian Adventures firm representations to the contrary. And, of course, Avian Aventures has to use a weird size cup, something that only it carries (if they do!) instead of regular sizes.
Now, as you may have surmised, the response of Avian Adventures was most-disinterested & downright rude, with no concern, no wish to relay the above design defects, determine where the cups are and/or even believe me what I was saying, etc. The lady only begrudgingly took my phone number should someone wish to call me back (which they did not!), and it felt that she was doing me the favor of condescending to speak with a mere customer.
My cage cost me $673.00 2 years ago, which was then a good deal.
Its now reduced considerably, but that's still a lot of money.
But you buy this cage at your own risk.
And its not a good risk.
