(More customer reviews)I'll make this short and sweet, this thing is absolutely horrible. It came pre-installed in a new house and it has to be the worst dishwasher ever. I wouldn't even call it a modest dish wetting device. I have to wash the dishes off before I put them in the washer, and I swear to god they actually come out with food on them that I don't even remember making. I'm almost convinced that if I stop this thing mid-cycle and open the door I'll get mauled by a little angry dishwasher troll eating a soaking wet cannoli.
There is no food in the trap, can't find food anywhere in the washer, but somehow the dishes come out with phantom food particles. It also has traces of the soap left over. I've tried powder soap, liquid soap, and those little cascade drop in thingies that mix powder and liquid... nothing helps. I'm going to give the warranty a shot and hopefully have GE redeem themselves, but if they can't fix it I'll be donating this to my local food shelter, as this magical machine can create food out of water and ceramic plates. In the mean time I'll either have to coax my girlfriend into hand washing the dishes or get my cats to lick them clean when she's not looking.
Don't cheap out, you get what you pay for. Now, if you'll excuse me I have a call to a home builder to make.
