(More customer reviews)This light looks nice, and the LEDs are nice and bright. However, the steel used is somewhat thin, and does not inspire confidence overall. We installed it with little problem, and it does in fact work well for the area (above the stovetop) that we needed. I would prefer it to be made out of slightly thicker steel though.
We installed it in series with some undercabinet halogen lights, so when the switch is turned on, there is a slight delay between the halogens (instant) and this LED (a second or two) starting up. Not a big deal, but something that should be noted should you have a similar situation.
I recommend this, and think it will be fine for the application, but wish it was of slightly higher quality
