We have wanted to try some All-Clad cookware for a long time and so far, it is exceeding our expectations. The pans heat so much more evenly than anything else we own and they really haven't proven to be a pain to clean (which we were sort of expecting). We heeded the advice of the instructions and the reviews from others and keep the heat lower than we normally would..... cook like a dream. I find the weight of the pans to be really nice. I sort of thought that the lids would be heavier. They are very light, but provide a really good seal. Like some of the other reviewers, I bought some Bar Keeper's Friend, but have only had to use it once. I really like this 5 piece set, too because we didn't get a bunch of extra stuff that we really didn't want... and the price was exceptional (black friday sale).
