(More customer reviews)How does a great leash and my 2 year old 110lb Akita-YukiOnna connect. Through the years I have had 3 Akita's all big, beautiful and fairly headstrong.
So have used the 50ft leash for years.
It allows that my space vs your space kind of walk with the ability to go from 1ft to 50 ft. It provides me to be in control of my dog at all times, yet still have running room.
In the Spring in the rain, Summer in the heat and our month at the beach in Maine, then fall with crisp leaves and thistles, and finally onto our long cold snowy winters. It works in all seasons, all weather and with no problems, no breaking, all good.
Rope burn-have you every used just rope or a cheap 1/inch leash and your 110lb Akita sees a squirel??? rope burn will be a fact of life. A fact right done to the bone on your fingers, a fact I learned very painfully. Not so with this product you and your dog will be fine and happy on those walks, runs or even training exercises. I add training last as Akita's though big and beautiful do not do training-they give you that if you wanted to train something why not get a lab or golden look. I high recommend this leash. It is not just a leash but a great safe-smart-start for the good times with your dog.
So if you want to have a great leash for your great "dog" times then buy this leash.

This leash gives you the ultimate control over your dog, while still allowing your dog the freedom to move, run, and play. Used during play, the leash is long enough for you to play a great game of fetch with your dog - all while holding one end of the leash. It's a great way to honor local leash laws, keeping your dog under control at all times while giving them lots of running room.Used during training, the leash is perfect protection for you. You can let the leash drag on the ground and focus on working with your dog - but if your dog decides to make a run for it, you have plenty of time to react and keep your dog close. Your dog learns the feel of obedience without being dependent on the leash. For example, you can teach your dog to "heel" with the leash dragging on the ground - and once your dog's "off-leash" heel is perfect, all you have to do is pick up the leash for a perfect on-leash heel. Much easier to do it that way than to try and teach your dog how to behave off-leash when your dog is already dependent on feedback from a short leash. For the park, the backyard, the woods, or the beach - this leash gives you peace of mind and control at a distance - and your dog can just forget that it's even there.
